Sign Theme by Themey
Sign is a two column widget ready wordpress theme in blue. It must have got it’s name from the big sign post on the right side of the page. The layout is typical to blog. But right from the header part, the theme makes you feel like you have never seen the layout before.
After the initial navigation bar and search box, we are greeted with a very good combination of flickr photo feed on the left and the calendar to the right. Though I call it flickr photo feed, in the preview it shows a static display of thumbnails from an image called “flickr.jpg”. I believe the developer will replace this part with the real photo feed or it will definitely be a wastage of space for such a nice theme.
Then coming further down, what caught my attention is the unique display of meta details.
I liked the semi circular comment count display. You know these things can give your blog a real stand out look. Then the background image used is that of clouds with silver lining but these clouds are visible only at the bottom of the blog, which means it wont interfere with your text.
The rest is that of a typical theme, nothing much to talk about. The sign post stands tall but in no way disturbs your readers. To summarise, a neat theme for your blog.
