Hello 1.0 / iPhone Wordpress Theme
Hey guys this is my first review here 
I will try to follow The Critic’s mode of review as far as possible. So here goes.
For my first review i have chosen a theme that looks like something i would like to own very much, an Apple iPhone. Seriously, this theme does look like the classy iPhone as you can see from the screenshot. This is a single (1) column theme, black (obviously), fixed width and widget ready. It is made by Mauricio from Themey and he has also included an options page in the admin section for the theme.
First off the author calls it the iPhone Wordpress theme on his site, but the Wordpress Theme Viewer calls it Hello 1.0. To avoid confusion, i decided to use both names in the post. This theme is is based on the K2 structure.
The first thing that you notice is that it pretty much looks like the iPhone. Its black, sleek with rounded corners and gorgeous colors ( namely the header image ) If you can get some kind of rotating header image script and incorporate it with this theme, it would look really great 
The iPhone theme has a single column design with sidebar information presented below the posts. The icons used are FamFamFam Silk Icons. They look elegant, in keeping with the theme.
The next screenshot shows how individual posts look like. I have only two problems with this. One is that the Title color is a little too blended in for my taste. My other gripe is that the Wordpress Test Site post showing that the text is not wrapped around the image. I have seem some theme’s do that and i think it is a CSS issue. (Please note both issue are very minor and i am just nitpicking on this great theme :p)
One thing that i really like about this theme is the support for pagination. Pagination is builtin to wordpress but very few theme authors include it in their themes. This theme has it and it is great
The next and previous posts appear quite neatly on top of the title, when browsing inside a post.
Lastly here is how the comment’s area look. It’s a little bland, considering the overall look of the theme.
To sign off, this theme captures the look and elegance of the Apple iPhone perfectly. I havent look at the Option Page that this theme has, but it does not really matter to me. I like this theme, just the way it is. (Maybe the comments area can be made a bit more iPhoney :p)
This theme is released under the Creative Commons licence. Attribution links must stay.
Edit: The author has provided more info on how to change the header image with one of your own. Simply open up the /images/ directory and replace both header.jpg and header.png with any image of your choice cropped to 658251 pixels.

Another point to note is that the header image can easily be swapped out for another image. I forgot to add that in my original post.

Id like to appeal to ALL WP theme developers to stop using that ugly WP 0.1 legacy : the big empty space next to each picture embedded in a post.
The CSS float and clear properties have been around for a while now and are easily incorporated in any themes stylesheet, but 3 out 4 designs only concentrate on the colourscheme & a pretty header image. Have they ever viewed their own designs with an embedded thumbnail ? IMHO it’s a major flaw.

pretty much put the file in a folder with a bunch of images and link to the file and it rotates. working on my site and many others.
anyway, thats a clean theme. Hopefully people put it to good use
Nice theme…K2 is one of the best wordpress theme out there and lots of good themes based on k2 is there.
