YGoajx Theme by YgoSearch
The developers claim YGoajx is loosely based on Web 2.0 principles. Web 2.0 or not, this theme has a sleek look. I always have an affinity towards Ajax and so I very much like the way Ajax effects are used. The theme is basically 3 column with the pages, categories and meta on left side and calendar, archives and rss on the right. It is a very old layout but still one of the all time favorites for bloggers.
The first thing that impressed me in the color combination. Black header, a thin green horizontal line and then the horizontal navigation bar with an embossed 3D look - that really impressed me.

I was wondering where the Ajax effects which the developer talked about were located. Couldn’t find it at first but when I clicked on the “search” button on the nav bar, down came sliding the search form with trademark ajax slide effect. Oooh, I love that.

The remaining part is pretty much like any other WordPress theme. The left and right side bars are typical. But in totality, I feel the color combination and ajax effects have raised this theme from mediocrity.

I loved the look of this theme too, but after getting it installed realized it does not have any widget support!
