Hi, this is just a friendly announcement, that some of the links in the site might be affiliate links, mostly in the Joomla section. We are in no way pushing the template. Being an affiliate will in no way compromise our objectivity (If we dont like something, we will say it). The reason why we have these links is that most of the good looking templates are paid ones. People purchasing templates using our affiliate links helps us, since we get a bit from each sale.
Fashion Plazza Joomla Template

Fashion Plazza from TemplatePlazza is a red Joomla template targeted for fashion related Joomla sites, teen sites etc. Basically it looks young and hip. This theme appears to be fixed width. I dont know if there are option inside to make it fluid, or to increase the width.

The header looks good with the abstract image of a woman posing for the site. Better make sure that you have a good enough replacement, because this image looks damn good. There are also a few stars proclaiming web 2.0 and one stop mode solution, whatever that means. TemplatePlazza has also included a sliced PSD with this template. A good thing too, otherwise most people would be lost trying to recreate this effect.

Like the CinemaPlazza template, Fashion Plazza too has a modified sliding Kwik menu, which looks really great. Here you can see an animated gif capture of the Kwik sliding menu.

The template has a banner position and a search box on the side of it. It can look a bit awkward if you have ads turned off, as i did. So make sure that you utilize the modules wisely.

There are colorful user module positions that can add color to your already colorful site. Just above the modules is the Son of Suckerfish Dropdown menu. Make sure that you test it above 3 levels on various browsers.

The left menu looks good and has a hover effect that is understated, yet beautiful. The module positions are fully collapsible, which means that if a module is not published at a place, another module will expand to fill that space. This is great.

Below the main content and just above the footer we have 3 module positions that you can use to diplay content. The colors used fit in with the overall theme.

Here is a look at the template module positions. They look to be more than enough.
Here is an overview of the template
- Joomla 1.0.x compatible
- Mambo 4.5.x compatible
- Kwick Sliding Menu
- Son Of Suckerfish Dropdown Menu
- Fully Collapsible Module Position
- Full width layout
- Already Named Sliced PSD file included
- Tested with IE 6+/IE 7/ Firefox/Opera/Safari
- Valid XHTML and CSS
Overall, a good template to use in fashion / teen sites. Hip and trendy.
