Recycled Canvas is a two column, widget ready theme by Creative Synthesis. Though the theme has an absolutely unique look, the biggest problem you are going to face about this theme is it’s licensing issue. It is not under GPL or Creative Commons. I always enjoy going through consolidated plugin or theme lists. At most occasions, these lists introduce you to some addons which you previously didn’t know about. Staska.net has compiled a list of favorite WordPress plugins. This isn’t actually just any list. The author actually went through 48 of those favorite plugins list which had a total of 280 plugins, and then compiled this list based on the frequency of appearance of each plugin in every list. YGoajx Theme by YgoSearch
The developers claim YGoajx is loosely based on Web 2.0 principles. Web 2.0 or not, this theme has a sleek look. I always have an affinity towards Ajax and so I very much like the way Ajax effects are used. The theme is basically 3 column with the pages, categories and meta on left side and calendar, archives and rss on the right. It is a very old layout but still one of the all time favorites for bloggers. Read more

Sign is a two column widget ready wordpress theme in blue. It must have got it’s name from the big sign post on the right side of the page. The layout is typical to blog. But right from the header part, the theme makes you feel like you have never seen the layout before. Read more
TechBlog Theme by Ventedoy
Essentially a 3 column theme, this one has a true unique look in terms of templating. Starting from the color combination - the blue and green blend looks superb. Then on top you have the recent posts displayed on the blue background. Normally most themes prefer to have this part on the side bar or at the bottom of the page. Read more

Dropshadow is a modern, 2-column Widget-ready theme created for Wordpress. Something is very much appealing about this WordPress theme. It may have the typical blog layout but still the whole theme has a polished look. Plus it is Widget-ready. The side bar is what I like most. Altogether the theme has a professional look. Read more
